Many factors were considered when we decided to have this special election and most of them is what's going to be best for our community and for our kids. We want to make sure that we're taking care of this amazing legacy that we have been elected to be responsible for before on behalf of our community. And part of that is making sure that we have the money to do the maintenance to make sure that these amazing buildings that we're responsible for stay in good condition for the future. I think the school is kind of the heart of the community. What's the most important piece of us? And it's this value of education. When you think about the like immigrant roots of South St. Paul generationally the investment was that we want our kids to do better and have better than what we have and how they assured that was to invest in education. We want the best for our kids. We want them to do better and and it takes a continuing support from the community to like see that vision and how that benefits all of us. And a big part of what makes South St. How special is the history of our schools. Once you're a Packer, you're always a Packer. We always say that. And whether it's because, you know, your grandparents graduated from South St. Paul and your kids are going here, there's this connection. And so, it's really important, I think, for our community to make sure that our schools are still viable for our current generation and for future generations. And we can't do that if the buildings aren't safe.
