I will add so the the packet states that the alcohol will be served on June 5th and June 8th. It should actually be doing that the boys they're gonna be down there four days. All right.

So this is just a new tobacco license. Um the current gas and go company was purchased by another company. So tobacco licenses are non transferable. So this is just for the new owners to be able to continue to sell to them.

Yep. So we received this chicken permit application from the Driscoll family located at 405 First Southeast. Um their paperwork included all of the required documents. Um I kind of some back and forth uh with them to nail down exactly what the dimensions needed to be and things like that. I got them squared away. Um, all of the diagrams, what not they have all reflect um hoop size and body size that are in accordance with what our ordinance is. Um, and then like the memo says, the issuing of this permit will be final on inspection by the city once it's perfectly coming up.

The way our ordinance is written there's no public notice period for chicken permits that they have to notify.

So this chicken permit is a little bit different um as our code is currently written um section 10.07 um we allow up to three hens um no roosters or crowing hens. Um the request for 868 street southeast is for 12 hens.

I guess bigger picture if we're going to continue to receive applications requesting exemptions. Maybe if council would like, we can revisit how the ordinance is written. Um, whether it's a tiered system based on lot size, you can have x amount or, you know, that can be up, but we're kind of seeing a trend in requests for more. Um, and so instead of making exceptions on the regular, it might be better to just review it.

Yeah, the ordinance is doing exactly what we wanted it to do, which we started out small. You know, I remember we had talked about five down to three just to start small and see how it was going to go.

I will also note I appreciate the work that Mr. Paul put into the application. um he did his homework and provided a lot more context than I appreciate that I know the chicken for 868 street obviously with the exemption for the chicken second motion second chicken are you great question my wife has an idea of course

So we got four quotes in U for a minimum overlay and we got price. So, we're thinking about doing three more blocks. So, I got your permission to go ahead and sign a contract. We'll be doing all fifth street up to the pool main street also. The original came from sand and gravel $124,885. Yeah, we'll be we'll be good. So, and we'll save the $175,000 looking for your sign the contract that goes.

I'll speak in attorney's absence. I I'll try to make him proud. But desperate councils um just to refresh your memories of any projects over $175,000 we have to put out the competitive bid. Um so we looked at multiple quotes. That's why we just got quotes. We didn't put it out for bidding because originally the um engineer estimate was below 175,000. Uh but stated even adding an additional three blocks Looks to be action project with additional pay.

So right now we have a brush log that it works but it's not very efficient uh with our Bobcat um skid loader. We need to invest in a different one that works a lot better so we can make a little more progress. Right now we just we're all in with the other one. But the southern one we can pick up a little more pace. We we mow a lot of behind us and ditch.

The one we're looking at is the burning B50 72 in. It's $8,400. uh trade in with the one that we'll trade in. It's $3,500 end price of $4,900 and that will be split out between three different places.
