Staff explained that these scopes of work were delayed in the bidding process and required commission approval due to their value, distinguishing them from smaller contracts managed by the Administrator.
Approval of Contingency for SIC Parking Ramp Project

Following the approval of subcontractors, the commission considered and approved an as-needed contract amendment for a 10% contingency on the total project cost for the SIC Parking Ramp. This contingency, described as standard practice, is intended to cover unforeseen conditions that may arise during the construction.
