". Good Evening Everyone And Welcome. >> I Will Call This Bloomington City Council Meeting To Order Tonight Is Monday, March 31St, 2025. Thanks Everybody For Joining Us Here In The Council Chambers And Thanks To Everybody Who Was Watching Online. We Will Start Our Meeting As We Always Do If You'Re Able Please Stand Remove Any Coverings And Join Me In The Pledge Of Allegiance. I Pledge Allegiance To The Flag Of The United States Of America And To The Republic For Which It Stands One Nation Under God Indivisible With Liberty And Justice For All . Once Again, Thanks To Everybody For Joining Us Tonight. Council Our First Order Of Business Is To Adopt An Agenda For This Evening And Under Our Introductory Items We Have Three Items Under Introductory Item 2.1 Is The Introduction Of New Employees And I Think We'Ve Got Three Different Departments Introducing New Employees Tonight We'Ve Got A Proclamation For National Public Health Week And Then We Will Do A Summary Of The Interim City Manager'S Performance Evaluation That We Just Completed Under A Consent Business And The Councilmember Has A Consent Agenda Tonight We Have 11 Items And Under Our Item Four Hearings, Resolutions And Ordinances We'Ve Got Two Public Hearings. One Item 4.1 Is Regarding The Right Of Way Permitting And Management Ordinance Amendment And Then A Public Hearing On Item 4.2 Regarding A Comprehensive Plan Amendment And Rezoning For Rainbow Midwest. We Have Under Our Organizational Business Item 5.1 Will Have A Public Safety Update From Chief Hodges And Will Wrap Up With Item 5.2 Our City Council Policy And Issue Update Council Any Additions Or Changes To The Agenda? If Not I Will Move Tonight'S Agenda As Stated. Second Motion In A Second By Council Member Lowman To Accept Tonight'S Agenda As Stated No Further Council Discussion On This All Those In Favor Please Signify By Saying I Opposed Motion Carries Six Zero Noting That Councilmember Carter Is Not With Us This Evening So We Have An Agenda And We Will Move On With It And We Will Start With Item 2.1 The Introduction Of New Employees. As I Said, I Think We Have Three Different Groups That Are Going To Be Introduced. Did You Draw Straws About Who Gets To Go First Or Very Good With Mr. How? Mr. Emerson They Currently Bernhardt Parent Baron Thank You Very Much For Letting Me. Good Evening Mayor And Council Tonight I Would Like To It'S My Privilege Actually To Introduce Two Of Our Newest Members Our Service Facility Service Technicians. They'Ve Been With Us For A Couple Of Months Now. We'Re Grateful That They'Re Here To Help Us Out. It Kind Of Runs Out Our Facility Staff To Help Us Out With Preventive Maintenance And Things Like That Of All Our City Buildings. So First Of All I'D Like To Introduce Nick Ricks. Nick Is Got Ten Years Of Experience With Experience With A Company That He Came From. We'Re Very Appreciative That He'S Got This Experience That Comes In Handy Working Their Facilities Permit When Nick Is Not Around Working He Enjoy…
