shot and [0:48] other helpful information at Bloomington [0:50] Public Health's mobile Health Hub [0:52] Bloomington is named one of the top 10 [0:55] places to live in the midwest by [0:57] livability.com livability recently [1:00] released its top 25 best places to live [1:02] in the midwest list and Bloomington was [1:04] number seven the article called out Mall [1:06] of America bloomington's highquality [1:08] schools Parks emphasis on equity and [1:11] inclusion and more as reasons why [1:13] Bloomington is a great place to live [1:16] attend bloomington's fourth Annual Pride [1:18] event it's happening Sunday September [1:20] 22nd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at [1:22] Bloomington Civic Plaza Bloomington [1:24] residents are taking the lead in [1:26] planning the event the transition to a [1:28] community run event continues with twin [1:30] City's Pride as the fiscal sponsor this [1:32] year recently five Bloomington residents [1:35] gathered to create a board of directors [1:37] and are working on establishing the [1:39] nonprofit Bloomington MN Pride the event [1:42] will be similar to years past with food [1:44] trucks great music and entertainment [1:46] kid-friendly activities and so much more [1:49] stay up to date on the latest at the web [1:51] address on your screen congratulations [1:53] to the hatch Bloomington winner [1:55] scrambling egg owners Grant vener and [1:58] Nick Peterson competed in Blooming 's [2:00] inaugural hatch Bloomington contest and [2:02] were awarded [2:03] $100,000 to start a brick-and-mortar [2:05] business here in Bloomington the winning [2:08] entry was selected based on two rounds [2:10] of community voting with additional [2:12] input from a seven judge panel that [2:14] reviewed contestants pitches at the top [2:16] 25 top 10 and top three stages for the [2:20] past year and a half the scrambling egg [2:21] food truck has been serving fast casual [2:23] breakfast options in Bloomington their [2:26] vision is to develop a business model [2:28] that can expand nationally and [2:30] eventually globally with Bloomington as [2:32] the starting point we'll be sure to [2:34] update you as their business plans [2:35] progress the hatch Bloomington [2:37] competition aligns with the city's [2:39] strategic objectives and developmental [2:41] priorities by encouraging local [2:43] entrepreneurs to develop business ideas [2:45] that will positively impact [2:47] bloomington's future enrollment is up [2:50] significantly at Normandale Community [2:52] College in 2024 Normandale says the [2:54] college is projected to have a 15% [2:57] year-to-year increase in Fall enrollment [2:59] from 2023 to 2024 with a total of 10,500 [3:04] students this fall semester they say [3:06] it's some of the highest enrollment [3:08] levels in the history of the college [3:10] dean of Recruitment and Outreach Charles [3:12] frames says the enrollment increases are [3:14] the culmination of planning efforts to [3:16] make Normandale a modern and student [3:18] ready campus with recent Renovations in [3:21] addition they say their programming [3:23] efforts have been focused on meeting [3:25] students where they are providing [3:27] expanded resources to meet needs and [3:29] make sure people can show up as their [3:31] authentic selves the city of [3:33] bloomington's communications efforts [3:35] shine in the National Spotlight the city [3:38] received three Awards in the city County [3:40] communications and marketing Association [3:42] 2024 Savvy Awards which is a national [3:45] competition the city received a first [3:47] place award for its Communications voter [3:49] education plan for Bloomington forward a [3:52] second place award for the notable [3:53] Neighbor video series and a third place [3:56] for the Bloomington briefing that is the [3:58] buzz on Bloomington today for the week [4:00] of September 11th through the 17th if [4:02] you would like to watch
