for joining us first we [0:20] bring you the Buzz for the week of [0:22] October 9th through the 15th learn the [0:24] latest on the 9M Creek Corridor renewal [0:27] project by attending an upcoming event [0:29] the city will host two events where the [0:31] public can see Concepts that illustrate [0:34] what's possible and a chance for Park [0:36] users to provide input the first event [0:38] is Monday October 21st from 3: to 5:00 [0:41] p.m. at Moyer Park the second is Tuesday [0:45] October 22nd from 5: to 7:00 p.m. at [0:48] Bloomington Center for the Arts this is [0:50] part of the pre-design feasibility study [0:52] process the first phase of planning and [0:55] design both events will contain the same [0:58] information the project team has [1:00] listened to the community at a number of [1:02] Engagement events collected technical [1:04] information about the site and studied [1:06] possibilities for improvements to [1:08] Natural Resources trails and Moyer Park [1:11] if you are not able to attend either [1:13] event in person there will be future [1:15] opportunities to leave comments on the [1:17] let's talk Bloomington page construction [1:20] continues at Bryant Park the renovations [1:23] will bring play for all the [1:24] groundbreaking on the park was held in [1:26] August marking the start of Renovations [1:28] for bloomington's first fully inclusive [1:30] playground along with various other [1:32] improvements to the park the updates [1:35] will feature an accessible playground [1:36] design for children of all abilities and [1:39] will also include a skate park new [1:41] tennis and basketball courts a centrally [1:43] located shelter building and improved [1:45] Pathways the project also incorporates [1:48] sustainability measures and enhancements [1:50] to Natural Resources within the park [1:53] construction is expected to be completed [1:55] by fall of 2025 for more information [1:58] visit the link on your screen it's an [2:00] election year and here's what you need [2:02] to know early and absentee voting is [2:04] underway Bloomington residents can go to [2:06] Civic Plaza to cast their ballots from [2:08] 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through [2:10] Friday through November 4th extended [2:13] hours are also available on Saturday [2:15] October 26th Tuesday October 29th [2:18] Saturday November 2nd Sunday November [2:21] 3rd and Monday November 4th voters can [2:24] also vote in person on Election Day [2:26] Tuesday November 5th polling sites are [2:29] open for voting from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 [2:31] p.m. on Election Day early mail and [2:34] absentee ballots are issued by hanpen [2:36] County at hen. us/ elections mailed [2:39] ballots can be returned to hennipin [2:41] County through mail or returned in [2:43] person at Civic Plaza they must be [2:46] received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day [2:48] get familiar with what's on the ballot [2:50] by visiting mnvotes.org new to [2:53] Bloomington or just looking to get to [2:55] know more about the city sign up for a [2:57] new Resident meeting through the welcome [2:58] to Bloomington program [3:00] the next chance to attend is Thursday [3:02] October 17th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at [3:05] Civic Plaza the welcome to Bloomington [3:07] program is an opportunity for people to [3:09] learn about the city its incredible [3:11] amenities and the community resources [3:13] available through various Services [3:15] programs activities and events key [3:18] initiatives include a monthly bucket [3:20] list of activities for people to be a [3:22] part of and new Resident meetings learn [3:25] more about this program and share with [3:27] people who are new to Bloomington by [3:29] visiting BL M mn/ welcome protect [3:32] yourself from the flu and covid by [3:34] getting vaccinated Bloomington Public [3:36] Health will be holding Community [3:37] vaccination clinics across Bloomington [3:39] Edina and Richfield all you need to do [3:42] is bring your insurance card if you have [3:44] one if you are not insured or can't pay [3:46] you can still be vaccinated to schedule [3:49] your flu shot visit [3:50] blmn clinics and to schedule your
