One of the reasons I wanted to be a part of the commissioner was to get to know the community surrounding Bloomington, Minneapolis, [music] the Twin Cities in general because I've heard a lot of good things about Minnesota in general moving from Iowa and just that the community is very supportive and I just wanted to get to know that community. I wanted to be a part of it and I wanted to learn how [music] I could support in the best way I could, especially the youth. I feel like there definitely does need to be a youth voice speaking for the youth. I [music] think just interacting with community members, hearing their voice and actually implementing it into laws that could be made or proclamations. I would say if you want to apply, do it because if you're accepted, you get new perspectives meeting [music] with experience. You get to build up your opinion. You get perspectives of different people. And I [music] think that's very important to count that in your lives. [music]
