[0:00] [Applause] [0:03] [Music] [0:03] [Applause] [0:05] [Music] [0:05] [Applause] [0:08] [Music] [0:11] [Applause] [0:13] [Music] [0:16] hello and thanks for tuning in to [0:18] Bloomington Today Let's take a look at [0:19] the latest news in Bloomington The [0:21] opening of the Bloomington Family [0:23] Aquatic Center has been delayed It was [0:25] originally slated to open on June 9th [0:27] but a leak was detected in a pipe [0:29] underneath the main pool surface The [0:31] exact opening date will depend on how [0:33] long it takes crews to repair the leak [0:35] Updates will be posted on the Family [0:37] Aquatic Center page as they become [0:39] available The search for Bloomington's [0:41] next city manager is underway The city [0:44] manager posting is now live and open [0:46] until June 16th The search firm Mosaic [0:49] will review applications the week of [0:50] June 16th and the city council will [0:52] convene on June 23rd to review and [0:55] advance candidates for interviews The [0:57] 2025 National Community Survey is [1:00] underway In May residents started [1:02] receiving the survey which is developed [1:04] by the National Research Center and [1:06] offers a statistically reliable snapshot [1:08] of how residents view the city's [1:10] livability services and overall quality [1:12] of life The survey is now open to all [1:15] community members through the link [1:17] listed on your screen Survey responses [1:19] are being accepted through June 24th The [1:22] final report will be published in July [1:25] Last year's results can also be viewed [1:27] at blm.mn/servey [1:30] Bloomington has participated in the [1:31] survey since 2012 The city's annual [1:34] Junth celebration is almost here It's [1:37] happening Saturday June 21st from noon [1:39] to 5:30 at Valley View Middle School The [1:42] celebration seeks to honor the [1:44] resilience freedom and contributions of [1:46] black communities and culture while [1:48] reflecting on the historical [1:49] significance of Junth And on Sunday June [1:52] 22nd Bloomington's fth annual Pride [1:55] celebration is happening It's from 1 to [1:57] 6:00 p.m at Bloomington Civic Plaza The [2:00] event is hosted by one of Bloomington's [2:02] newest nonprofits Bloomington Pride [2:04] Visit the link on your screen to learn [2:06] more That's a wrap on this week's Buzz [2:09] If you would like to see more stories [2:10] highlighting people places and projects [2:12] in Bloomington watch other features [2:14] right here on our YouTube channel Thanks [2:16] for watching
