[0:00] [Applause] [0:04] [Music] [0:04] [Applause] [0:05] [Music] [0:05] [Applause] [0:09] [Music] [0:11] [Applause] [0:14] [Music] [0:17] hello and thanks for tuning in to [0:18] Bloomington today let's take a look at [0:20] the latest news in Bloomington weigh in [0:22] on the future of the city's new [0:24] Community Health and Wellness Center the [0:26] public is invited to review and comment [0:28] on the draft designs of the facility an [0:31] in-person event was held to kick things [0:33] off in early February we're here to show [0:36] the community the schematic design plans [0:39] for the new uh Health and Wellness [0:41] Center and schematic design kind of [0:43] means we know the basics of the new [0:48] building and the site and we are working [0:50] out the details so I kind of call it [0:52] about the halfway point in the process [0:54] you can look at the draft design on the [0:56] let's talk Bloomington page share your [0:58] feedback there through March 1st first [1:00] the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife [1:02] Refuge is home to a large variety of [1:04] birds that can be seen throughout the [1:06] year one particular favorite scene in [1:08] the valley is the trumpeter swan [1:10] trumpeter swans are a very charismatic [1:13] bird in North America they're North [1:15] America's largest waterb bird that we [1:17] have and they're one of a few types of [1:20] swans that you can find in Minnesota and [1:23] throughout the US you can identify them [1:25] by their really long necks and very [1:28] large bodies and they have a very Stark [1:31] black bill they do mate for life so once [1:35] they pick a pair that's usually about [1:37] the time they're like 3 years old [1:39] they'll have a mate and they'll return [1:41] to the same nest every year sometimes [1:44] you might see like the symbol of the [1:45] swans like nosing each other yeah [1:48] they've kind of become a symbol of of [1:50] love in that way to learn more about [1:52] trumpeter swans and the amazing variety [1:54] of wildlife you can find along the [1:56] Minnesota River Valley visit the Refuge [1:58] Visitor Center [2:01] the city is seeking an artist to design [2:03] a new mural at Bloomington Ice Garden [2:05] their mural will be located in the [2:07] vestibule of big applications for the [2:09] project are open through March 14th the [2:12] mural will celebrate the rank's history [2:14] and importance to the community The [2:16] Chosen artist will create a digital [2:18] design to be installed on the wall learn [2:20] more about the project details at the [2:22] link on your screen that's a wrap on [2:24] this week's buzz if you would like to [2:26] see other stories highlighting people [2:28] places and projects in Bloomington watch [2:30] features right here on our YouTube [2:32] channel thanks for watching
