The Bloomington History Clock Tower was built in 1990, in part to mark 30 years of Bloomington as a city. On September 10, the Clock Tower was decommissioned and then removed, as replacement parts to fix the clock were not available, and the tower faced significant structural issues beyond routine repair. The Clock Tower was a grass roots, community driven initiative that will not soon be forgotten.
