[0:01] hi my name is Joe Lizden and I am a [0:04] fleet technician for the city of [0:05] Bloomington we maintain and repair our [0:08] fleet we have over 120 classes of [0:11] equipment that we have anything from [0:12] small lawnmowers to large heavy trucks [0:16] we do it all mild to wild i personally [0:19] like working on all the squad cars and [0:21] all the police equipment my main goal in [0:23] the winter is to rebuild our street [0:25] sweepers also our plowing operation make [0:27] sure that they are out clearing streets [0:29] we are looking at our wall of [0:32] certifications everybody in the shop is [0:34] ASSE certified i got the ASC worldclass [0:37] technician certification there's a lot [0:40] of tests a lot of studying a lot of [0:41] hands-on knowledge that pertain to [0:43] getting that there's uh 250,000 ASC [0:46] certified techs and about 2,000 hold the [0:49] worldass certification my father-in-law [0:52] and mother-in-law live in Bloomington so [0:54] I'm constantly pointing out hey that [0:56] squad there did breaks on that one or [0:58] hey that truck there I rebuilt it feels [1:00] good to keep all that going what's that [1:02] old saying if you do something you love [1:03] you never work a day in your life i feel [1:05] that's completely true here
