[0:21] August 14th through the 20th community
[0:24] members gathered to share their ideas on
[0:26] the future of a beloved Bloomington Park
[0:29] the help plan moer Park event happened
[0:31] Wednesday August 7th at the moer park
[0:33] picnic shelter plans for Moyer Park are
[0:36] part of the 9M Creek Corridor renewal
[0:38] project City staff and Consultants were
[0:40] there to talk with community members
[0:42] about Moyer Park and specific amenities
[0:45] they'd like to see there what we talked
[0:47] about with the park system master plan
[0:48] in the community is when we replace
[0:50] playgrounds that we try to offer unique
[0:53] experiences across Bloomington and with
[0:56] this park we're doing the same one of
[0:57] the options that we're asking people to
[0:59] consider is nature play other new
[1:01] amenities like a replaced picnic shelter
[1:04] how many people should we serve and what
[1:06] types of things do you want to do when
[1:07] you come with a group the design team
[1:09] has been doing topographic survey
[1:11] Wetland inventory tree inventory we'll
[1:14] take that technical information combined
[1:16] with what we've heard from the community
[1:18] this summer and come back later this
[1:21] fall with some concept plan ideas for
[1:24] the community commissions and Council to
[1:26] consider if you weren't able to make it
[1:28] to the event there are still opportuni
[1:30] ities to provide your input we invite
[1:32] you to take the survey online at let's
[1:34] talk Bloomington to stay up toate on the
[1:36] project and for additional information
[1:38] about the 9M Creek Corridor renewal

[1:43] the city wants to hear feedback from you
[1:45] on SE capacity improvements based on
[1:48] city forecasts between now and 2040
[1:50] there will be an estimated $55 million
[1:53] needed in City sanitary sewer
[1:54] improvements to meet capacity demands of
[1:57] Redevelopment throughout Bloomington the
[1:59] city wants your feedback on how best to
[2:01] fund those improvements provide your
[2:03] feedback at the let's talk Bloomington

[2:26] Civic Plaza public voting will be open
[2:29] after that and the winner of the contest
[2:31] will be announced in early September to

[2:44] city of Bloomington and Minneapolis
[2:46] Regional Chamber that offers

[2:52] receiving
[2:53] $100,000 in financial assistance to
[2:55] Kickstart their brick-and-mortar
[2:56] business in Bloomington the third annual
[2:59] on the one music festival is happening

[3:11] will take place at Bloomington Central
[3:13] Station Park on Saturday August 17th
[3:16] from 2: to 9:00 p.m. the festival
[3:18] celebrates the best in Twin City's Urban
[3:20] Music including R&B Neo Soul ree afro
[3:24] beats hip hop and spoken word it
[3:26] features some of the top artists in
[3:27] their craft sharing their passion with
[3:29] the state of Minnesota on the one is
[3:32] produced by the Avant guard and is free
[3:34] for all ages to attend for the artist
[3:36] lineup food vendors and more information

[3:57] residents gathered to create a board of
[3:59] director dors and are working on
[4:01] establishing the nonprofit Bloomington
[4:03] MN Pride the event will be similar to
[4:05] years past with food trucks great music
[4:08] and entertainment kid-friendly
[4:09] activities and so much more stay up
