[0:17] the latest news in Bloomington the city

[0:19] of Bloomington has been named one of the

[0:21] best workplaces by the Star Tribune the

[0:24] newspaper recently released its list of

[0:26] Minnesota's top workplaces for 2025 the

[0:29] evaluation is based on feedback from an

[0:31] employee survey more than 5,000

[0:33] organizations were invited to

[0:35] participate in the survey and more than

[0:37] 149,000 employees shared their views

[0:40] this is the first time the city of

[0:41] Bloomington received this recognition

[0:44] the 2025 National Community Survey is

[0:47] underway in May residents started

[0:49] receiving the survey which is developed

[0:50] by the National Research Center and

[0:52] offers a statistically reliable snapshot

[0:55] of how residents view the city's

[0:56] livability services and overall quality

[0:59] of life the survey is now open to all

[1:01] community members through the link

[1:03] listed on your screen survey responses

[1:05] are being accepted through June 24th the

[1:07] final report will be published in July

[1:10] last year's results can also be viewed

[1:12] at blm.mn/servey

[1:15] bloomington has participated in this

[1:17] survey since 2012 the Bloomington Family

[1:19] Aquatic Center will be open for the

[1:21] season soon the June 9th opening was

[1:23] delayed due to a leak detected in a pipe

[1:25] underneath the main pool surface for the

[1:27] latest news on the Family Aquatic Center

[1:33] means the outdoor Bloomington Farmers

[1:35] Market season the popular market takes

[1:37] place every Saturday from 8:00 a.m to

[1:52] recognition bec TV recently won its

[1:54] first hometown media award for sports

[2:01] Battle of Bloomington Hockey Game the

[2:03] national award was presented by the

[2:05] Alliance for Community Media jefferson

[2:07] senior Lucas Craig earned an AV All-Star

[2:10] Award from the Midwest Emmy Foundation

[2:12] recognizing outstanding student

[2:14] leadership behind the scenes of live

[2:16] productions like football broadcast and

[2:18] weekly coaches shows this is the fifth

[2:20] consecutive year a BEC TV student has

[2:23] been honored with the award becv has

[2:25] been training student broadcasters for

[2:27] 50 years producing more than 30,000

[2:30] shows for Bloomington public schools
