[0:03] - [Instructor] A lockdown is the most serious action [0:06] we might take when there is a threat or hazard [0:08] believed to be inside the school building. [0:11] This could be a threatening intruder. [0:14] During a lockdown, [0:16] no one is allowed into or out of the building. [0:19] All students and staff [0:20] remain in their locked classrooms or offices. [0:23] Staff will turn off the lights, move everyone out of sight, [0:27] take attendance, and then remain silent [0:29] until police or school administration [0:32] release classrooms or areas. [0:35] A lockdown will only end [0:37] when it is deemed safe by law enforcement [0:39] in partnership with school administrators. [0:56] To learn more about safety in Robbinsdale Area Schools, [1:00] visit our website.
