Good evening everyone. It is 7 o'clock and I would like to call this meeting this business meeting of the Robbinsdale Area School Board to order. We are in the business we are in the um education service center boardroom. We acknowledge Robbinsdale Area Schools is located on the homelands of the Dakota and Ajiway people. We recognize the painful history of genocide and forced assimilation of the indigenous inhabitants of this land. We honor and respect the many indigenous peoples who live and on and hold sacred these lands and we stand with members of these nations to fight injustice in all of its forms. We uphold the preservation of Dakota and Ajiway languages, land-based education, and tribal sovereignty. Now, will the clerk please call the role? >> With pleasure. We are delighted tonight to have uh principal uh Adams and her team with us this evening to share information regarding the words matter initiative at Sonnetson which is a schoolwide effort to teach students, staff and families the power of language um and its impact on relationships, learning and community. We're excited uh to start with the mission of Robbinsdale because the mission of Robinsdale directly connects with the words matter um work that we're doing at Sonos. So the mission of Robbinsdale Area Schools is to inspire and educate all learners to develop their unique potential and positively contribute to their community. So, I'm here to talk uh about words matter and I brought a team with me because it's a team sport here at Saison.
