[0:00] [Music] [0:12] But this class is is is super special [0:14] because it's my first full graduating [0:17] class. And so, uh, one of the coolest [0:20] memories I have with them, and it may [0:21] sound cliche or whatnot, but I, uh, kept [0:24] them after our first pepfest afterward, [0:26] and I said, "I'm so proud of you." I [0:28] said, "Our school has transformed in um [0:32] such a positive way, and it's because of [0:34] your [0:35] [Music] [0:40] leadership. My favorite memory would [0:42] have been my first pepfest when I was a [0:46] freshman. So, it was right after co. And [0:49] so, being able to be around my peers and [0:52] have such a large experience, it was so [0:55] fun." Um, my favorite memory from my [0:57] time at Rapids was um at this my [1:02] sections meet for cross country my [1:04] senior [1:11] year. The one thing that I would [1:13] remember the most is that the teachers [1:16] here treat you like really well. like [1:19] they treat you as if you're like a [1:21] person and not just like a student that [1:23] they see every day, which I absolutely [1:25] love because then you get more [1:26] connections [1:27] [Music] [1:32] with I'm always going to remember the [1:34] relationships that I've had with [1:35] teachers and peers that at Rapids [1:38] High School, I felt really supported and [1:39] I can walk through the halls and see so [1:41] many people I know have small talk every [1:43] day that I never feel like I'm alone and [1:46] I always feel like I have someone to [1:47] share my accomplishments with or someone [1:49] to go to when I have a hard [1:53] [Music] [1:57] time. So, yeah, something I'll always [1:59] remember about Kunis High School is just [2:01] how diverse the whole school is. Um, [2:03] it's something I've always been [2:04] appreciative of and I feel like it's [2:05] nice that I've grown up around different [2:07] cultures and different races and all [2:09] these things. [2:10] [Music] [2:19] I am most proud of the risks that these [2:21] kids have taken. I've said it to them as [2:23] a freshman when we first came in, take a [2:24] risk and try something new. Um, take a [2:27] risk and get out of your comfort zone. [2:29] And every year they've done that. We [2:30] want to make it a great day to be a [2:31] Cardinal. [2:35] [Music] [2:40] I'm probably most proud of balancing [2:43] having fun with trying to like maintain [2:46] like a healthy like school life because [2:49] sometimes it can get hard to do. I'm [2:51] most proud of my involvement here. I'm [2:54] really fortunate that at our school we [2:56] have a lot of student clubs and [2:58] organizations. [3:00] [Music] [3:06] As I start my new journey, I'm looking [3:08] forward to meeting new people and [3:10] getting new experiences. Probably most [3:12] looking forward to like being more [3:14] independent. [3:16] [Music] [3:26] I'm excited to meet new people and face [3:28] new challenges that I've really enjoyed [3:30] my time here, but I'm excited to see [3:33] what's beyond Rapids and what I can [3:35] learn from the world around me from new [3:37] experiences, new classes, new [3:39] [Music] [3:47] friends. Um, something I really love [3:49] about Rapids is just how much [3:51] everybody seems to care. [3:54] [Music] [3:58] Class of 2025, the biggest piece of [4:00] advice I can give you is never settle on [4:03] being good at anything. Sounds weird, [4:06] but the biggest obstacle to being great [4:07] at something is being good at it. [4:09] Because then we don't think we have to [4:10] work really hard. But what I want to [4:12] challenge you on is always strive for [4:14] greatness. Always working to improve [4:16] yourself, the people around you, [4:18] whatever you have going on. Take the [4:20] leap and work toward greatness each and [4:22] every day. [4:25] [Music]
