Dr. Teri Staloch was introduced to the community as the superintendent leading Robbinsdale Area Schools, which serves seven cities in the region. During the meeting, Staloch shared her background and vision for the district's future.

Staloch grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota, where she developed values centered on hard work, community, and education. She spent 10 years teaching English to middle school students in St. Charles before moving into district leadership. She emphasized that her experiences as both an educator and parent have shaped her commitment to helping all students develop their unique potential and contribute positively to their communities.

The superintendent outlined a vision for student success built on three pillars: strong relationships between students and staff, effective instruction that drives academic excellence, and creating a sense of belonging for all students. She stressed the importance of transforming schools to ensure both equity and excellence, with every student receiving a quality education within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Staloch introduced the "Rediscover Rdale Strategic Plan," a roadmap designed to guide the district forward. The plan aims to engage students, families, and staff in joyful learning and teaching. Key goals include ensuring students are invested in their education, helping families feel welcomed and safe, and supporting staff members as they work toward academic and operational excellence.

Staloch indicated she plans to be visible throughout the seven cities served by the district, attending various events and visiting schools to build connections with the community. No votes were taken during this introductory meeting.
