Stephanie Webster has been introduced as the new principal of Birch Grove School for the Arts, bringing her passion for creative expression and previous administrative experience to the Brooklyn Park school.

Webster, who previously served as principal at Crestview Elementary and assistant principal at Oakview, said her love for the arts drew her to the position. She cited theater, visual arts and gardening as forms of artistic expression that enhance learning.

The new principal emphasized her connection to the community, noting that the school is located near her home. "I feel like I get to live in the community that I serve," Webster said during an introductory interview with student Aena.

Webster expressed enthusiasm for working with students, describing them as "the smartest people in the entire building." She said she finds the school environment joyous and feels she contributes to the world through education.

As part of her vision for the school, Webster plans to start a gardening club, combining her personal interest in gardening with the school's arts focus. She described gardening as another form of artistic expression and indicated she would bring plants to the school campus.
