AI Area Schools Superintendent Welcomes Families Back
Dr. Kim Hiel, superintendent of AI Area Schools, welcomed parents and caregivers to the 2025-26 school year in a message emphasizing the district's "one community for all" philosophy.
The district is implementing significant building improvements funded by community support, with 66 school building projects expected to be completed by 2027. Summer improvements included outdoor classrooms, library media centers, maker spaces and classroom additions across district schools.

Hiel expressed gratitude for community support of the building improvements and said she looks forward to "a year full of learning, connection, and celebration for every single one of our students."
