[Music] to me sustainability is a really imposing word um I think a lot of people understand where we are now and where we want to be but it's that middle process that's really really difficult to wrap your head around sustainability has always been a passion project for me I was trained as an architect so I've always been taught from very early age that very early on in my career at least that the decisions I make every day have an impact and those add up over time and it's important for the world for us to make those decisions and to really be educated about our impact as an architect I make decisions on like a plot By plot basis and as a homeowner I do the same thing right um but I'm really excited to join this kind of larger scale City level every little thing adds up in this world and um I think it'll be really fun to be able to impact it at a little bit of a larger scale one of the cool things about this commission is that we get to take an overwhelming topic and we get to start breaking it down into small and manageable bite-sized chunks that the everyday person can think about and Implement in a very cost efficient and low effort kind of way we get to start figuring out that process of how to get from here to here and we get to be a group that gets to um really dive in to what that could look like for the everyday Crystal citizen or business owner um and we get to help Define what that is and see how those little steps add up over time to really get us from this point to this point our ultimate goal for more City Stories check out CCX media.org or find us on social media [Music]
