Sponsored by friends of Judy Erdahl and the Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation, the Judy Erdahl Memorial Award recognizes a compassionate teacher or staff member of Minnetonka Community Education who has demonstrated a high commitment to child-centered excellence. This is a new award for the 2021-22 school year. Judy Erdahl was an Early Childhood & Family Education (ECFE) coordinator and parent instructor. She also served as a Minnetonka School Board member for a time. She was a champion for early childhood education, and for many years was an advocate and driving force to improve outcomes for people with metastatic breast cancer. Judy was the rare individual who used her personal story to inspire and motivate others. This award commemorates Judy’s dedication to the ECFE program and families. The inaugural honoree of the Judy Erdahl Memorial Award is Ashley Manley, Teacher, Minnetonka Preschool.
