There's also a person that supports AP and IB programs and achievement specialists. >> High school counselors work with students for a variety of reasons. Anything you might be struggling with, personal or social, any academic concerns with classes. If you have a 504 plan, they can answer any questions you may have, or you can just learn more about accommodations. They can also be a trusted adult who has your back. There are a number of ways to make an appointment with your counselor. You can stop by the counseling office and make an appointment. Contact your counselor by email, schooly, or use the booking link on the website. Counselors want to ensure they are here for you when you need support. If you ever need to see someone right away, there's always a walk-in counselor or two available. When you meet with your counselor, we want to respect your confidentiality. Anything you share is private unless you or someone else is in danger or has a safety concern. Often they work closely and collaborate with families as they support you. This is Laura Herps, our AP and IV coordinator who supports students with all things IB and AP. >> Reno and Sha support students who may need a little extra support or community. We also have a college and career center dedicated to helping students prepare for life after high school. Miss Gutierrez is our post-secary counselor.
