my relationship with my heart health came because of an emergency I didn't spend a lot of my adult life paying attention to the health of my heart let alone the health of my body it took an emergency to actually get me to think about you know what's going on with my heart how that relates to family history so when I started to do the research I learned that this is something extraordinarily common especially for black and Indigenous women why why is that there shouldn't be a reason why we as black women indigenous women are more impacted by the health of our heart than others we deserve a complete reform of an institution of Health in this country that looks at us and sees our future [Music]
