[0:00] My interest with science actually really
[0:02] started in high school when I took my
[0:04] biology class. I've never really been a
[0:06] science person. I always thought I was
[0:08] like not really super good at science,
[0:10] but I've always really been interested
[0:11] in people. When I was able to put my
[0:13] passion within like people and science
[0:16] together, I was like this is a perfect
[0:17] class.
[0:27] So my project was focusing on the like
[0:30] cognitive impact that the Mosaic program
[0:33] in Eden Prairie elementary schools will
[0:35] have on students mindset development.
[0:38] And so that's kind of just what I
[0:39] focused on throughout the class. And
[0:40] after that I just drew conclusions from
[0:42] my results and was able to create a
[0:44] paper about it. We're meeting with
[0:45] mentors, different leaders of the
[0:47] community. It was really easy for me to
[0:49] at least within my capstone classes,
[0:51] those really built the skills that I
[0:52] needed to be able to like meet with
[0:54] mentors and present in front of a bunch
[0:56] of people. It made the experience so
[0:58] great. Like I felt really seen in what I
[1:00] was doing.
