[0:02] the torch run is one of the biggest [0:04] fundraisers for the Special Olympics so [0:05] the Special Olympics provides [0:07] opportunities for people that have some [0:08] disabilities to come compete and come [0:11] hang out and make friendships and [0:12] relationships with everybody else i [0:14] decided to do torch run because I'm a [0:15] big believer in athletics and activities [0:17] and that it really develops a person and [0:20] makes the person the best they can do i [0:21] used to referee for them growing up so [0:24] anything I could do to give back to them [0:25] and support that great cause so the [0:27] torch run started at Rosen Park and it [0:29] kind of ran all the way around to kind [0:30] of that Westshore neighborhood and then [0:31] that's Tenn Lakes Pavilion so it's about [0:33] 3 miles so you light the torch you run [0:35] with the torch and once you get to one [0:37] side of the city closer to the cities [0:38] you hand off the torch and that agency [0:40] then runs and it ends at the U of M [0:42] where the Special Olympics kicks off [0:43] shortly [0:45] [Music]
