[0:28] e [0:58] e [1:28] e e [2:01] good evening ladies and gentlemen and board members uh good evening board [2:09] members it is 7 o'clock uh December 2nd um we do have a quorum so I will call [2:16] this meeting to order um the first agenda item tonight is to approve our [2:22] agenda do I have a motion to tonight to approve tonight's uh board agenda so [2:27] move is there a second second we will now vote to approve our agenda all those in favor say I I anyone opposed [2:35] tonight's agenda is approved um Dr Stanley would you please review tonight's agenda for us in the community [2:43] absolutely we are really excited to recognize our boys cross country [2:48] Champions they'll be here tonight and then we also have an excellence in action um really talking about some [2:54] great things that are happening in our middle schools um we are going to go into recess for two public [3:00] hearing items truth and Taxation and achievement and integration um board will come come back [3:07] into regular meeting um we'll have hearing from the members of the public several consent agenda items we have [3:12] quite a few discussion items um a legislative action committee platform update which our students are here to [3:18] present to us um our fiveyear financial forecast um a proposal that I have [3:24] related to um enhanced process for our Berg update we're going to hear about our secondary uh courses for English [3:31] language arts two twoyear recommendations secondary courses General change recommendations quite a [3:38] few international travel trips uh policies and then for Action we have the certification of our property taxes [3:44] payable 2025 quite a few policies for action and then we have uh leadership committee [3:52] updates thank you Dr Stanley um next um I am super excited to invite um Troy [3:59] Stein here and he's going to help us recognize our boys cross country state [4:04] champions congratulations to our team we have our coaches and a lot of our teammates here and we're really honored [4:10] to have you here tonight so I'll turn it over to assistant uh principal Troy Stein good evening uh can you hear is [4:18] this working we'll try this again all right we'll try it one more [4:25] time I just want to make sure that it's getting on the audio on the stream but uh uh Troy Stein here and I'm assistant [4:31] principal uh director of activities and this is certainly a highlight to come here this evening uh certainly um to be [4:38] here in front of the board uh board chair elenberg Dr Stanley superintendent appreciate you having us if I could get [4:44] the cross country team and uh coaches to come on up here with me and what [4:57] yeah what I would uh love to uh acknowledge is is it is extremely [5:02] difficult uh to be a student athlete at Edina to to uh maintain the the [5:09] academics that these young men are uh striving to achieve but also the Excellence and Athletics that they [5:15] accomplished uh this fall uh I know it…
