[0:07] Was a great night last night at city [0:09] hall with a conversation about gun [0:11] violence. Uh, everybody was so civil. [0:14] Uh, the discourse was at a really high [0:16] level. All in all, really, really [0:18] valuable and in many ways very [0:19] therapeutic in the aftermath of [0:21] annunciation. [0:22] Today, we're going to talk about [0:24] something else though. We're going to [0:25] talk about Edina school children and [0:27] we're going to talk about cake. Uh the [0:30] Adina Education Fund's annual kakeoff is [0:33] happening Thursday, January 29th from [0:35] 5:30 to 8:00 PM at St. Patrick's Church [0:38] in Adina. This is one of the most [0:40] enjoyable and important fundraising [0:42] events of the year. Cake stands for [0:44] Community Action for Kids Education and [0:47] this event celebrates the many ways the [0:49] Adena Education Fund supports excellence [0:51] in Adana public schools. You'll see, [0:54] hear, and experience just how the ed [0:56] fund is making a real difference for our [0:58] students and our staff, especially in [1:00] the area of mental health and wellness, [1:02] literacy, and steam education. The [1:06] evening includes a reception, a buffet [1:08] of appetizers, and live and silent [1:11] auctions featuring fancy cakes, creative [1:13] desserts, culinary experiences, and [1:16] one-of-a-kind Edina themed items. [1:18] Remarks in the live auction begin at 700 [1:21] p.m. It's really an extraordinary night. [1:23] I hope you can all get there.
