[0:00] Well, greetings everybody. This is Jim
[0:01] Huffliner, your Dana Mayor, and this is
[0:03] the mayor's minute for Tuesday, December
[0:05] 23rd, 2025. Many of you may know of
[0:08] volunteers enlisted to assist people,
[0:10] maybe not by that long name, but maybe
[0:12] better known to you as VEP, largest food
[0:15] shelf in our part of the metro area.
[0:17] They now have office hours at the Adina
[0:19] Fire Station number two, and they're
[0:20] there every week. If you need help with
[0:23] rental assistance, utility bills, access
[0:26] to food, or even a hygiene kit, stop by
[0:28] fire station number two at 4401 West
[0:31] 76th Street any Tuesday or Thursday
[0:33] morning. A VEP case manager will be on
[0:36] site in our public health division from
[0:38] 9:00 a.m. to noon, ready to offer
[0:40] support and connect you with resources.
[0:42] We're grateful for this partnership with
[0:44] VEP and encourage anyone facing a tough
[0:46] moment to take advantage of these
[0:48] confidential, nocost services. This is
[0:51] Jim Hufflin. That's your mayor's minute
[0:52] for Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025. I hope
[0:56] you all have a great rest of this
[0:57] holiday season. We'll see you soon.
