[0:02] [Music] [0:09] [Music] [0:11] Greetings. I'm Dan Bitman, [0:12] superintendent here in United Public [0:14] Schools and so grateful to be a part of [0:16] your journey and to work and learn with [0:18] you. This week has been such an exciting [0:20] week as we've been able to be in every [0:22] single building throughout classrooms, [0:24] throughout programs to see our kids [0:26] smile and the energy that they have. [0:29] This is why we do the work that we do. [0:32] While we have so much to celebrate, I [0:33] also want to honor and acknowledge the [0:35] tragedy that we've experienced in our [0:37] community and our neighboring community [0:39] with enunciation. This has just been [0:41] absolutely tragic and we know that so [0:44] many of our students, our families and [0:46] staff have been impacted by this [0:48] devastating event. Know that we are here [0:50] to support you and to support everyone [0:53] in the enunciation community. If you [0:55] need direct support or would like to [0:57] know more about resources, please reach [0:59] out to the district office and we'll [1:01] make sure that you have what you need. [1:02] While I'm technically the interim [1:03] superintendent Edina Public Schools, I [1:05] want you to know that my wife and I and [1:07] family are deeply committed to you and [1:09] the work that's happening. I come here [1:11] with 15 years of superintendent [1:13] experience and opportunities throughout [1:15] this community that have supported me [1:17] throughout my entire life. My wife and I [1:20] have moved to this area and moved into [1:21] Edina. Have just so appreciated the [1:24] community's welcome and all of the great [1:26] things that are happening throughout. [1:28] Please know that when you're out in the [1:29] community and you see my wife Julie and [1:31] I, please stop by. We'd love to hear [1:33] more about your story, the things that [1:34] are going well, and ways that we can [1:36] make sure that we're supporting each and [1:38] every one of you the way you deserve and [1:41] the way that you've expected to be [1:42] treated with excellence throughout our [1:45] district and community. Our commitment, [1:47] collaboration, and deep partnership is [1:49] what makes this magic happen throughout [1:51] our district and community. We are [1:53] grateful for you and would not want to [1:55] do it without you. Thanks for being part [1:57] of Adina Public Schools. Go Hornets. [2:01] [Music]
