well good evening everybody uh we have reconvened the din city council as the din Housing and Redevelopment Authority it is still Tuesday December 17 2024 and uh we have a little bit of work to do relative to the budget setting for the HRA and establishing the tax levy payable in 2025 that is HRA related so having called the meeting of the HRA to order uh I want to ask our clerk Sharon Allison to call the role commissioner agnu here commissioner Jackson here commissioner Pierce here commissioner rer here chair huin here uh so uh we have a meeting agenda in front of us is there someone who wishes to move the adoption of the meeting agenda so moved second commissioner eggon moves commissioner Jackson second the adoption of the meeting agenda uh for the h this December 17 2024 any further discussion all those in favor of adopting the me meeting agenda is published for the HRA say I I I opposed carried uh one matter in front of us this evening for Action uh as an HRA and that is adoption of resolution 20248 which adopts the HRA budget and establishes the tax levy payable in 2025 executive director Neil did you have anything you wanted to add and as a prefacing sort of comment yeah thank you Mr chair members of the commission uh yes we are asking the commission to approve the proposed budget and tax levy for the HRA for 2025 the proposed uh tax levy is two uh $259,300 that represents a 3% increase over the 2024 Levy uh the city uses these dollars to fund uh housing and and general uh Economic Development kind of activities um and we ask for your support thank you questions for the executive director all right is there a motion to adopt resolution 20248 which would adopt the HRA budget and establish the tax levy for the HRA payable in 2025 moved second commissioner U moves commissioner Jackson seconds the adoption of the resolution 20248 which adopts the HRA budget and establishes the tax levy payable in 2025 for the HRA any further discussion all those in favor of adoption of the motion stated say I I I opposed carried resolution 20248 is adopted the H budget is adopted and the tax levy is payable in 2025 is adopted uh is there a motion to adjourn the HRA meeting no mote second got a motion by commissioner AG second by commissioner Jackson adjourn the HRA meeting uh this Tuesday evening December 17 2024 any further discussion all those in favor of adjournment say I I I opposed carried H stands adjourned thank you for
