[Music] did you know that 96% of all businesses in the city are classified as small businesses these local employers are not only important to the economy they also contribute to the well-being and vibrancy of the community the 50th in France Business and Professional Association is working to promote 150 of these businesses in ways that are fun for the whole family he DED TV shows us how and introduces us to its new director now therefore the city council of the city of Adan is hereby Proclaim April 28th through May 4th 2024 as Small Business Week a proclamation hi I post carried celebrating a Local Economic Force small businesses they really are the lifeblood of our community accepted in part by the 50th in France Business and Professional association's new director there was a lot to do as soon as I got on um my feed and and started the position there perfect okay like making a visit to 50th in France more than a shopping trip but an event even the little ones will hop to like an Easter egg hunt held for the first time in March what families will do is they'll start discovering all that's at 50th in France so they're going to get to hop into different businesses the businesses will all have a treat for them a reason to break with routine and internet shopping to explore this business district the children that have the most checks on their postcard win a golden egg full of tickets to the din theater one of several events planned for the year designed to remind visitors that shopping locally keeps dollars in the community when you go in and you start supporting a small business you're supporting a family you're supporting a local person who is doing this for the love of being an entrepreneur and providing a service to you a collective effort by small businesses at Fifth and France to promote the economic well-being of the area and I think it's really important that people remember how great it feels to be in community with each other well making the shopping experience one to remember at 50th in France I'm Dan Carpenter for ad TV one of the 50th in France Business and Professional association's biggest event of the year is just around the corner if you enjoy great food music and art then you'll want to visit the Art Fair Friday May 31st through Sunday June 2nd at 50th in France there will be free parking and a free shuttle to the event from Idina City Hall on Saturday and Sunday
