[0:09] We were not progressing in some cases at [0:13] all communally. I was not asking enough [0:16] questions of myself. I was not [0:19] intentional enough with my learning and [0:21] my unlearning when there was uh what I [0:24] now know were microaggressions. I did [0:26] not know that as a child. But when that [0:28] came up, what I'm grateful for is there [0:30] was something inside me that made me [0:32] feel uncomfortable. And I have to go [0:35] through the discomfort. I can't just put [0:38] it aside and say, "Well, I'm going to [0:40] deflect and go another direction because [0:43] I won't move forward." If we know [0:45] better, we do better.
