Motans who have been [0:10] directly affected by recent federal [0:12] actions now have a new way to make their [0:13] voices heard. Attorney General Keith [0:16] Ellison recently launched a reporting [0:18] form where people can share how federal [0:20] activity in Minnesota has personally [0:22] impacted them, someone close to them, or [0:25] something they have directly witnessed. [0:27] that includes actions involving the [0:29] Department of Homeland Security, such as [0:31] ICE or Customs and Border Protection. [0:35] The goal is to collect clear, specific, [0:37] firsthand information that may help the [0:39] Attorney General's office protect [0:41] constitutional rights of those in [0:43] Minnesota, defend Minnesota's laws, and [0:45] respond to actions that impact public [0:47] safety and civil liberties. The form is [0:50] meant for direct real experiences that [0:53] could include concerns about civil [0:55] rights, access to health care or [0:57] education, impacts on businesses, or [1:00] other serious disruptions tied to [1:02] federal actions. The Attorney General's [1:04] office is asking people not to submit [1:06] rumors, social media posts, or [1:09] secondhand stories they can't verify. [1:12] It's also important to know this form is [1:14] not for legal advice or immigration [1:16] representation. It's a way to document [1:18] what is happening in our communities on [1:20] a direct contact basis.
