The discussion centered on legal protections for staff and students under Minnesota's Good Samaritan law when administering the overdose medication.

The board also discussed but did not finalize updates to the Internet Acceptable Use Policy, which must align with new Minnesota data privacy laws and federal requirements. Board members requested clearer definitions of terms like "social media" and "non-academic use" before approving the policy, particularly regarding students under 13.
