[0:03] We're learning about how we can
[0:04] calculate the forces involved with an
[0:07] angled projectile.
[0:08] >> Projectile motion is kind of a key part
[0:10] of physics. And if we want to be able to
[0:12] really make predictions about where
[0:13] things are going to go, we have to be
[0:14] able to launch things at a consistent
[0:16] speed. This gives us the opportunity to
[0:18] actually do that.
[0:19] >> We were shooting a ball out of the
[0:20] launcher and trying to put certain rings
[0:22] that the ball should go through. and
[0:24] everyone in the class had to put it at a
[0:26] different point and calculate how high
[0:28] the ball was going to be at that point.
[0:29] >> We're looking at their velocities and
[0:31] like displacements. It's awesome for me
[0:34] to really apply what we're learning in
[0:36] real life.
[0:36] >> It's still like a real life example of
[0:38] how what we're learning is applied to
[0:40] the real world.
[0:40] >> Thank you very much for providing these
[0:42] for us. They will be used in really all
[0:45] of the different physics classes.
