Okay, so it looks like recording has started. So, welcome everybody. Um again, um we're just going to go over a few um activities, events that um that has happened and new ones coming up here for the Wellness program. But before that, we do have a new Wellness representative and that's Sylvie Greder for the police department. So, welcome. Thank you. Welcome, Sylvia. Yeah. Thank you. All right. So, we'll just do a quick introduction. If you could just um say your name, department name, your job title, and how long have you been working for the city of Maple Grove? I can go first and then I will just call off 100 people. So, I'm Lordis, um human resource department. I'm the HR technician and I've been with the city of Maple Grove for 2 years and four months. Sylvia, you can go. Yeah. So, I'm Sylvie. I work in the police department. Investigative support technician is my title and I've been here for just a year. Okay. Nelly. I'm Nelly Feist. I'm with the fire department. I'm the administrative assistant and I've been with the city for 19 years. Okay. Katrina. I'm Katrina. I'm in administration and I've been here 11 months. Oh, and I'm the admin assistant. Sorry, I didn't add that part. Okay, no worries. Thank you, Matt. Hello, my name is Matt Slend. Um, I am a combination electrical inspector with economic development. Been here for almost five. Okay. And then Caitlyn. And I'm Caitlyn with NFP, the city's broker partner. Just flying the wall listening in. Okay, perfect. Well, thank you so much. And then just a quick recap, Sylvie, or what these um wellness committee and what we discuss and stuff. So, we discuss any like activities throughout the program. As you know, we have that wellness guide that lists all the activities, events that have been confirmed for the year. We also start um planning for the next year's wellness program. So um during this time as of now it's been um our meetings hasn't been as long like the hour um right there'll be like they probably be about like 15 to 20 minutes super quick meetings. Um but then later I would say in the fall it starts to get uh busy and that's when we start planning for the big events like the wellness kickoff event like the flute shot all those events. So we'll start to get busier and um at that time we'll we'll meet in person but as of right now like I said our meetings are virtually um they can last for 15 to 20 minutes. Um, of course you can also if you hear any feedback or comments or ideas from your um from your staff and your department, let us know um and we'll discuss it as a group and you know provide you ideas and all that stuff. So um I do have um a few things in the agenda. So oh I see that a few people joined. So, we have Chrissy and we I see we also have um Shaya, too. Welcome. All right. So, before I get started with the agenda, I'm actually going to have you um both of you guys do a quick introduction to the group. So, Chrissy, you can go. Morning. Um let me make sure that hopefully you guys can hear me. Um I'm Chrissy Franklin. Um I work in the finance department. I've been in the finance department for about six years now and um been working for the city um as a whole for just over 10. Okay, perfect. Thank you, Shayla. Hello. Um I am with the fire department, a lieutenant at station 4 and um Nellie's been inviting me over and over again um because jump at any meetings and I could finally make one work. But we last like year and a year or so we've started um station workouts and kind of some wellness events and um challen connection. Sheila, can you hear us? Yeah, you you poke you you went out for just a moment. I'm back. Can you hear me? Okay. Okay. Yep. I can hear you. But yeah, I just want to, you know, I'm just curious on how you guys organize things on the back end and um see if we can, you know, get the firefighter end, you know, a little bit more engaged and and stuff. So, okay. And offer suggestions to the group as a whole. Yep. I'm glad they could make this one, Sheila. Yeah. Perfect. Well, thank you. All right. So, all right. I have a few things on the agenda. I did send that out this morning. Not sure if you guys had time to review it. Um, I'm going to share my screen. So, let me here. Okay. Are you guys able to see the agenda? No. No. Let's try. Let's try again. Let's see. There it is. Yep. Okay, perfect. Let me just exit that out. Oops. Too big. Can everybody see the agenda? Okay. Okay, perfect. All right. So, let's see. We already did the quick introduction, so I see nobody else has joined. Okay. All right. So, the Make a Move team challenge. So, that's through help partners. Um, I know Ally, um, she sent out the initial registration for the Make a Move team challenge and has also sent out, uh, weekly reminders as well. So, so far we have 11 teams created and that's a total of 75 participants that signed up for this challenge. Do any of you guys have any questions or did you hear any feedback from your staff or anything? nothing from fire. Okay, it's pretty straightforward. Um, like I said, Ally sent out that registration. It is through your help partners um portal. That's where you sign up and keep track of your steps. I think the main thing for this challenge is to just remember to log in and track your activities. Um, since Health Partners, unlike NFP, but Health Partners does not track for you, you just have to remember to go in um and track your activities um to help your team. [Music] That's true. Yep. So, hoping that um with those reminders um that Ally will, you know, will send out um that would just remind everybody to log in their steps as well. Anything else? Okay. The next thing I have is the health assessment and health screening. Um, deadline was May 31st. Um, I didn't get anybody reach out to me after the deadline, which is pretty good and hoping everybody submitted their health assessment and health screenings. Um, and then just a reminder, um, for new employees, we have an extended program. So, if they start between um March 1st and August 19, um they're still able to participate and complete the health assessment and the health screening um form. So, they have a special extension deadline um for September 30th. And um for that health screening, of course, they weren't here for that big biometric screening we had early. in um February. So, they will need to go um and schedule a uh doctor's appointment and get that completed on their side. They'll just need to take the biometric screening form that is located in the fit for life Excel tracking sheet and make sure they'll you know they'll send that form directly to advantage help which their contact information is in that biometric screening form in the Excel sheet. Any questions regarding the health assessment or the ex um extended program for those new hires that started between March 1st and August 19th? No. Okay. All right. And then it looks like I also have a little note. I had this last time. Um, I know um, Caitlyn um, you created a video um, about the fit for life program. Um, again, Caitlyn goes over that wellness guide and also the tracking card. So, if any of you guys want to um review that video or even um let anybody in your staff know if they need a refresher of um where the tracking card is located and all the tabs and stuff like that, you can refer them to that video that's in the employee internet um under the wellness tab. And let me pull up um I'm just going to pull up the internet to just quickly show you guys because I know we have Sheila here and we also have Sylvie. Um show them where wellness materials are. So this is the employee internet and go to health and wellness. We have our 2025 pit for life program guide and then we also have our tracking card. And then um the video that was mentioning you about Caitlyn that created um is located right here on this link. I'll just pull up quickly the Excel sheet. And just so everyone knows I'm not a professional influencer, so be kind on the video. Did my best. We should create a survey, Caitlyn. try to be very casual. All right. So, this is our um 2025 fit for life wellness program tracking card. This is where all employees will keep track of all of their activities and events that they um complete throughout the year. There's also exercise tracking, a seminar, a physical dental vision exam, biometric screening form. So, this is the form. So, um this is the form for employees that um weren't able to make it to our big biometric screening event we had in February. Um, so they'll just need to print this out, give this to their medical provider, they'll fill out their results, and then they will send it directly to Chris at Advantage Health, who's our wellness vendor. They'll email it to her and a book review, the 12week program request, and the help condition management. So that's our tracking card. little sneak peek. And Sheila, in case you're confused with that, the fire department has their own program. We alter after the city's programs been developed and all that's posted in Base Camp. Okay. For the biometric stuff or for the program itself? Yep. I work with Caitlyn and because there are some things fire can't participate in because they don't have health partners insurance. That's why you see that make the move challenge. Um, they need a login in order to do that. Okay. Okay. So then the spreadsheet on the website that you just showed me is going to be different than the spreadsheet that you send out to us. Yes. Everything for fire is posted in base camp in the 2025 wellness. Yep. Perfect. Okay. I just want to make sure then I I don't refer people there. Okay. Right. That's why I figured I'd point that out. Thank you. Thank you. Yep. Thank you, Nelly. You're welcome, Lordis. All right. So, this is our um wellness guide. Nelly, do you guys have your own wellness guide or is it the same one or We have a different one. Caitlyn different one. Okay. Yep. Caitlyn, I should say I work with Caitlyn to get that tweaked for fire. Okay. Is it a the same theme or is it a different theme? It's the same theme. Um, again, we just alter different activities that fire can't participate in and add some additional so they have they have about the same amount of opportunities to earn points. Okay. All right. And then in this wellness guide, we have a list of our wellness committee members. There's one rep from each department. Oh, it looks like it's little similar to what you guys probably have in fire. Very similar. Okay. All right. So, let me go back to the agenda. All right. Okay. So I also have the Maria's voice virtual presentation. We just had that last Thursday. Presenter was Angie Batima and Lissa Weimold. Um presentation was not recorded. What did you all were you So was all you guys able to make it or not able to make it? Any feedback or comments? I think they do a great job. I did watch it. You did? Okay. Perfect. I felt like this um year's virtual presentation was very interactive. I know they she had asked questions and everybody was adding it in the chat box. That was pretty nice. I have a quick question. Yep. Okay, that's Katrina. I was just wondering, was there a reason they didn't want to record it? I just was out those days and I wanted to see it and I just wasn't able to attend. Do you know was there a reason for that? Yeah, they don't allow us to record it due to privacy reasons and they also have that on their website too. Okay, that's just good to know. I just happened to be out and I really wanted to attend but I was not here. I had a couple employees reach out to me too if this uh presentation was recorded but unfortunately it was not. Um, so for next year though, um, I was talking to Angie and she had mentioned they had some kind of recording video. Um, she didn't give me a lot of information, but I just thought of an idea of maybe next year maybe we can do like that the virtual presentation and then have them share a record the recording that they had mentioned to me. Um, and then that way employees can give themselves points if they're not able to make it for the virtual presentation. So, that's an idea that I can talk to them for for for next year's wellness program. That would be nice for FIRE, too, because I know a lot of them are at their full-time jobs and not able to tune in. Okay. All right. Um, also Angie did stop by last week and she dropped off some Maria's voice flyers and shoe cards and little cards here. So, um, feel free to stop by. I can give you some of the the cards I have here. Um, and I will probably send by inner office mail some of the cards and flyers over to Cara at parks and wreck and also Allison at public works. So, for the rest of you guys, um, feel free to stop by my queue and pick those flyers and cards. you can add the um the flyers and employee areas. Um I do have other ones too that it's more of like general public um that you can put them where people can um grab them. So um any questions on the flyers and shoe cards? No. Okay. All right. And then I also have added um there's a new living well activity through health partners called create your calm. Not sure if any of you guys have logged in and saw that new well um wellness activity. Um so what that is is just a an activity that includes mindfulness, breathing and um meditation style classes to help you pause, breathe and create calm. All classes are beginner level and under 30 minutes. Um it is a twoe activity. There are four to seven classes each week including mindfulness, breathing and meditation style classes. Um so it is voluntary. Um, and I'm actually going to show you guys um where that create your calm activity in your help partners um living well portal is. So I will see I think I had it right here. Okay, I'm going to log into my health partners portal. Okay, I'm just going to search Living Well. Okay, living well portal. Okay. So if you click on activities, you can also click here see all activities too and you'll get a list of all the living well activities through help partners. So that create your calm activity is right here. This activity is actually through the wellbeats program. So, I don't know if any of you guys have signed up for Wellbeats this year. Okay, looks I've done a few of I've done a few of the exercises at home. Okay, got it. All right, so this is a new activity. Um, what you need to do is just uh click on get started. It is linked to Wellbe. So, if you don't have a Wellbeats account, it's going to ask you to create one. Super easy. Create your account and then it will just um take you to that activity and you can start that activity. So I already signed up. So it just directly takes me to the activity. Create your song. Okay. A little summary about this program. So again, it's a two um twoe program. So, day one, I'm still working on that video. And then day two, it looks like it's a rest day. And then, or you can watch um that 4-minute video. And then week two, again, some other videos on here. Okay. So that is available in case anybody in your department ask about this activity. I will send out information in a flyer for all benefit earning employees um that this is available now in their health partners portal and they can um go ahead and um start you know let's create your calm activity if they like any questions and then there's a lot of other videos on here and through Wellbeats, nutrition, fitness. There's a lot um that Wellbeats offers. All right. Cardio circuit videos by categories, too. Work breaks could be something that you guys can do your breaks. Nutrition. So is cooking education. That's all through park neckllet lis. Um no this is through help partners or health partners I mean. Yeah. Yep. Help partners through your help partners portal. Okay. Yep. Okay. Let's see if I can go back. Maybe here. Okay. Yep. So your health partners portal. So when you log in, you'll just go into living well. Um and then you'll see all your activities. Uh for example, the health assessment. All of you guys should have already completed your health assessment. Complete the wellbeats. There's a lot of activities on here they can complete. These are the challenges. So we completed a few months ago the Nourish with Purpose Challenge. And we're currently working on the make a move team challenge here. Okay. Uh right. So hoping you guys um will check it out and maybe on our next meeting I can ask you guys to see um if you guys signed up for that activity and what your thoughts were. Okay. Um, and then before I wrap things up, Caitlyn, do you have any anything you would like to share or anything I missed for this um wellness meeting? I would say uh the only thing I'd like to add is um right after the July 8th meeting at let's see at 11 central time is the next NFP webinar um that is going to be about it's called money moves that matter budget saving and thrive for every stage of life. So we will have it's a free webinar for all employees to attend. We will have a recording of it. That's a great way to get check off those podcast webinar on the tracking card. Okay. Can you send me that? Would that also be uh for like can we share for the paid on call firefighters too? Absolutely. So um I will resend that invite um or the email notification on that and you can send it out as you wish. Okay. And you said it's recorded. recorded. It is uh it's live on the 8th and then it takes about a month to get up on our website for recording. Okay. Okay. Thank you, Caitlyn. Yep. All right. So, I don't have anything else um to discuss. Um, our next wellness committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8th at 10 a.m. I haven't sent out the invites yet, so I'll get that sent out um today. Um, I'll keep it virtual. Um, and then let you guys know if it changes if I decide to do it in person. But for now, it's it'll be virtual. Um, and then also a reminder, I do have the Maria flyers, Maria's voice flyers, so feel free to stop by my cube and pick those up. Um, I have a bunch of them, so um, feel free to do that. But anything else, any other, uh, questions or follow-ups from you guys or anything? I have one thing just because I I brought it up a couple meetings ago about the the wellness room at the government center and I did have an employee make a comment about like the couch and stuff. So, I've just now have had somebody else mention something about it. And again, I don't know what we can or cannot do or who makes those decisions, but um it just that room is I think is used pretty regularly by employees at least here. And I don't know what we could do. Like they said like we should be able to get a new couch cuz it is kind of worn out. And again, I don't know who would be making those decisions, but okay, somebody else did bring it out to me in a different department. So, okay. Um, what I know is that it sounded like this was a few months ago, uh, that they were talking about it. Um, but I can definitely reach out to, um, I've been in contact with Zack Lundberg from public works. So, I'll reach out to him and I'll mention it to him and then I'll provide you guys with what I the feedback or any Where exactly is where exactly is the wellness room? It is right by the mail room right next to Oh, it is. Okay. Yep. Yep. Shayla, do you guys have uh some type of like wellness room for fire or No. No. Okay. Yeah. I was going to ask you like what you guys had or provided in the wellness room for paid on call firefighters. Okay. Hey Lord, have you talked to Jean Kimble about the wellness room here? Who? Jean Kimble, the um the facilities manager. Oh, you might be able to or Mer. Yeah. Yeah. What am I? Yep. For a second I was like, I don't rec Sorry. I got the gel on my mind from the weekend. Yeah, Gene Maller. Yeah, he would be a good one to talk to, too. I think Zach has been the I know that Zach's the one been working on the station remodels, the fire station. So, I'm guessing it's going to be his call, but you could check with Jean, too. Okay. All right. I'll check and I'll provide you guys with the updates on the next wellness committee. But Sheila, do you have anything that you would like to add or share or questions or No, not at the moment. Thank you. Yeah. So, right now, um, again, our meetings are quick. They're usually one hour. We tend to be, um, we tend to have those 1-hour meetings. I would say I would say probably starting in July or August because that's when we start planning for our 2026 program. So, you know, at that time, um, you know, we'll, um, we'll share and activities or if you have suggestions, Sheila, that you like to share, let us know. Okay. Otherwise, yeah, but thank you so much for joining us today, Sylvie, as well and everybody else. And, um, I don't have anything else to discuss, but yeah, everybody have a great day and thanks for joining. I'll send out the recording um, later today to everybody. So, uh, the rest of the committee members that weren't able to attend, um, they're able to watch the recording for today. But otherwise, yeah, have a great day everybody. Thanks. Have a good day. Thanks, Lord. Have a good day, everyone.
