[0:00] What we're seeing on our streets
[0:02] is unnecessary abuses of force.
[0:05] This is an invasion
[0:06] for the sake of creating chaos
[0:08] by our own federal government
[0:09] this is not about safety.
[0:11] This is not about immigration.
[0:13] This is about sowing chaos
[0:15] on the streets of Minneapolis.
[0:17] This is about political retribution.
[0:20] We in Minneapolis are suffering
[0:22] the brunt of it right now.
[0:24] Let me tell you what that looks like.
[0:25] It looks like business is closing.
[0:27] It looks like people on the streets
[0:29] that are terrified to get picked up.
[0:32] It looks like United States citizens
[0:35] getting taken somewhere
[0:36] where they don't
[0:37] know where they are going,
[0:38] nor when they are going to return
[0:40] to their families.
[0:41] We have seen consistent,
[0:43] unconstitutional practice
[0:45] by Ice discriminating
[0:48] only on the basis of
[0:49] are you Latino or are you Somali?
[0:51] And then indiscriminate
[0:52] pick ups thereafter.
[0:54] Please take back
[0:55] to your respective constituencies
[0:57] and your colleagues
[0:58] the message of
[0:59] if you love your own community,
[1:01] do not let this happen in ours.
[1:04] as soon as they leave,
[1:05] we will have peace.
[1:07] we will have safety,
[1:08] and order will be restored.
[1:37] Order would be restored,
[1:39] and I will make this prediction.
[1:40] If those federal agents left
[2:15] And I think
[2:16] the main message here is
[2:17] this is not sustainable.
[2:20] We have had tens of thousands of people
[2:23] in our city
[2:24] beautifully stand up for one another.
[2:27] They've showed this entire country
[2:29] who we are. How you love your neighbor.
