[0:01] We're here at Hiawatha and Lake. [0:03] We're about to unveil the [0:04] Hi-Lake Mural Project. [0:05] We're four artists. [0:06] A mixed team of mosaic artists [0:08] and painters. [0:09] On this side, [0:10] we have our immigrant refugee [0:11] community, history of social justice, [0:14] holding and supporting each other. [0:15] On this other side, [0:17] his hands are also spread wide [0:18] in a mirrored embrace. [0:20] All kinds of different things [0:21] to discover. [0:22] It's been really amazing to have [0:23] the City be on our team [0:25] for something like this, [0:26] in order to get access [0:27] to walls like this. I'm [0:28] from Powderhorn, born and raised, [0:30] really close to here, [0:31] so this is a huge honor for me. [0:33] The intention was a gift, [0:35] and I feel like I have received [0:37] the gift and the medicine [0:38] and the healing. [0:39] Drive by, walk by, [0:40] touch the wall, [0:41] and see and feel [0:43] the shift in energy [0:44] that we hopefully seated here [0:46] for our south Minneapolis community.
