[0:04] When I think [music] back to my fifth [0:06] baby to my first baby, the experience [0:09] was way different. Um, like the latch [0:12] [music] and my mouth coming in and [0:14] things like that. And so, it was helpful [0:16] to connect with the lactation counselor. [0:18] However, [music] there was no followup, [0:21] so that made it difficult. [0:22] >> Um, I think that being educated and [0:24] aware about the benefits of [0:26] breastfeeding is what helped me. um as a [0:31] young [music] mother in high schools [0:33] which my first encounter having people [0:36] inside of the school who were supportive [0:37] of what breastfeeding was, making sure [0:39] that [music] I was able to come down in [0:42] between classes to be able to feed my [0:44] son um as well as just being able to [0:47] [music] store the breast milk um in a [0:50] proper place. [0:52] Also, I would say um being close to [0:55] people who know about breastfeeding and [0:57] the benefits of it also and being able [1:00] to have a resource like wick [music] as [1:02] an informed place to get services about [1:05] breastfeeding support.
