[0:00] All we want in Minneapolis is justice [0:02] and the truth. [0:03] So our ask is really simple here: [0:05] Include the Bureau [0:07] of Criminal Apprehension in this process, [0:09] because we [0:10] in Minneapolis want a fair investigation. [0:13] They have the expertise, [0:15] they are equipped [0:16] and they are ready to pursue justice [0:17] on behalf of Minnesotans. [0:19] Do we want a legitimate investigation? [0:21] Or are we going to have a discredited [0:24] farce of an investigation? [0:25] This federal government [0:27] has given us too many reasons [0:29] to not trust them to do the right thing. [0:31] They should have no concern [0:32] about having a full [0:33] and transparent investigation here. [0:35] This is an unimaginable [0:37] and preventable loss. [0:38] We can and must resist the urge [0:40] to give in to the numbness [0:42] that comes from this type of attention. [0:44] We know what we saw, and [0:45] everything short of a full [0:47] and an honest investigation [0:48] is an insult to her memory. [0:50] Our entire community is mourning [0:51] because of the inhumane tactics of ICE [0:54] separating our families, [0:55] forcing people back into the shadows, [0:58] and the pure brutality [0:59] by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. [1:01] This is not the time to bend the rules. [1:04] This is a time to follow the law, [1:06] making sure [1:06] that we're pushing for transparency [1:08] every step of the way.
