Okay, 4:32 um I'll just start the uh meetings. Um hello everyone. This is greater separate routes to school phase two project. Welcome to our neighborhood construction meeting. The meeting is on June 11, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. This meeting is virtual and recorded. Meeting agenda is is follows. Introduction, my name is Wenwen and I am construction engineer of the project. Exit the event by closing the browser window. Project overview. Project locations. The work will be on West 26th, 27th, and 28th Streets between Lyndale Avenue and Lyndale Avenue. As well as the intersection of East 26th Street and Stevens Avenue. This federal project will include grading, bituminous and concrete surfacing, lighting and signals, curb extension and traffic circles, concrete medians and raised crossings, Americans with Disabilities Act compliant pedestrian ramp and utility improvements. Project scope, 2026 scope of work includes um intersection improvements, pull outs, and ADA at 16 intersections, storm sewer and water improvements, hydrant replacement on West 26th Street at Pleasant, Pillsbury, and Stevens, and traffic circles on West 27th Street at Garfield, Pleasant, and Pillsbury, and speed humps at 26th and Pleasant, 26th and Pillsbury, 27th and Harriet, 28th and Pleasant, and 28th and Pillsbury. Revised street lighting system at West 26th Street and Stevens Avenue intersections, revised control signal system on West 28th Street at Grand and Pleasant Avenues, and new pavement markings. 2027 scope of work um adding concrete median on West 26th and 28th Streets. That includes uh bufferings separating bicycle lanes. Estimated total project cost 2.8 million. Construction overview, construction anticipate start date is June 22nd, 2026. Meyer Contracting is a project contractor. Substantially completion date is November 1st, 2026. Subject of change will depend on weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances we may have. So, please see our website for current information and you can sign up for the email update from our project website. The tour Uh so, please keep in mind that the tour will be changes as we go with different construction phases of the project. As of right now, we are going through the tour for the construction phases that will be started on June 22nd. Um Pillsbury Avenue and West 26th Street detour will be West 26th Street, Linda Avenue South, West 28th Street, and Pillsbury Avenue. For Pleasant Avenue and West 27th Street and Harriet Avenue and 27th detour will be West 26th Street, Linda Avenue South, West 28th Street, and First Avenue South. Steven Avenue and East 26th Street detour will be West 26th Street, Lyndale Avenue, West 28th Street, and Fifth Avenue South. Bus detour, Metro Transit website has the most current information about routes and schedule changes. You can follow up with the update from the web page. Traffic control and access Traffic and pedestrian detour will vary at each intersection depending on the work schedule. Lane narrowing or intersection closure are expected under construction. Local access for residents will be maintained. Coordinated work, um contractor will do removals, water, storm sewer, asphalt, concrete, signal, signage, and striping. City of Minneapolis performs construction surveying and material testing. For utility work, Lumen will will be adjusting the cables and hand holes. Hours of operations, standard hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. uh, from Monday to Friday. We may have to work outside of these standard hours and days occasionally, and that requires a permit in advance. Right-of-way enforcement, please note that the city right-of-way extends beyond the back of the existing sidewalks. Um, right-of-way usually from 2 to 4 ft behind the sidewalk. And the purpose of this information is to notify you that any private, that includes uh, sprinkler systems, decorative pavers, flowers, shrubs, um, or any other special items, please relocate or remove these items from the construction area uh, before the construction begins. Uh, decorative items in the right-of-way are the responsibility of the homeowner. What to expect during construction, um, construction operations, uh, partial road closure and detour, um, local access to be maintained. Um, utility work includes the storm sewer and water work. Asphalt surfacing, curb and gutter installations, revised control signal system. A sidewalk close and follow pedestrian details. A concrete median and protected bike way installations. Raising maintenance hole. Final asphalt concrete resurfacing and striping. Um communications weekly updates will be sent through GovDelivery email. You can sign up for email update from our website. Uh we have bi-weekly stakeholder meetings for this project and our next virtual meeting will start on Friday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. Again, you can find that information from the project website. So but pretty much right now that we will be seeding and solving for the the circle on 27th Street.
