we're going to share those strategic excuse me, share those action steps with you. We want your support of those and certainly any feedback you have have on those. And once we we hone in on that strategy and these action steps, that's really where it transcends over into the right hand side of that where I work with our directors, our directors work with their own teams on really making sure we end up with the results that that we want

I really applaud this initiative... I also think it's important for the city from the perspective that we can explain to our residents why we're doing things. And we've eliminated these um high cost low pri you know low value programs because we've analyzed it and and we're stopping doing things because that's that that's how we've analyzed and um reflected on it. So we're it'll make it'll create help us create better road mapaps going forward and and and be more effective and more efficient with taxpayer dollars.

I've been I'm really proud and it's so good to see some of these real delineated action steps about the mental health side and co-response and also um the notation and the action step regarding medical calls and transitioning the first response to that. I've been bragging about it because I just think it's I it's so um collaborative and I think it really changes the view of public safety and to be a leader in that way is just really cool.

And so you kind of have to decide, you know, uh, you know, do we want to try to plate this for to hold on or keep the spotlight off of us as long as possible or do we want to stay with what you all wanted in the first place and because again, this was started before me.

But but the other thing that I really love about the work you're doing is the diversity of the def definition of diversity. Yeah. I mean, we're not, you know, I mean, um kind of the dividers want to make this all about race. Let's be honest. Well, race is a big part of it, but so is consideration of lifestyle, where people are in their lives. I mean, lactation stations, I mean, we haven't had a lot of conversation about lactation stations in the past, but you've brought that forward.

being a city council member is the only level of government that I was ever in where if I wanted to get something done, I only had to convince two other people. Now, we have a seven prison council. So, here we have to convince three other people... You have to work as a team.

I would like to have uh a session where we talk about um specifically uh advertising targeting youth around tobacco around cannabis and THC pro products and then um in that same session a talk about orratom I don't I don't know how But it's a it's an opioid type substance.

I mean that was a huge topic at the doors. [snorts] I mean, huge. And I know that it's a West Metro issue. I know that the legislature likely will not touch it because it's so specifically a West Metro issue. And because of that, I feel like if we're going to solve it, like we kind of need to solve it.

I don't know how other people feel about the 30 minute free time, but I feel like it didn't do any good and I would like to take it off.

I'm gonna disagree with that because at least from one instance I was able to bring up something that has made it onto the proposed study session which is the short-term rental issue and that wasn't something that was on you know the um study session list that we composed this time
