Over the course of the last 12 to 15 months, this group has spent 140 hours doing their firefighter one and two and hazmat training, 40 hours doing their EMR training. They've spent uh 24 hours at business meetings, 48 hours at drills, and then 36 hours at fish fries. So in the last year they spent 288 hours at the fire station and department doing work for the community and training and that doesn't even count the calls they've made in that whole time too.

What we have is we've recruited and hired great people that fit into our culture. That's what I'm most proud of. These orange signs are considered warning and information signs. They are not legally enforceable, which is probably why the Orno Police Department is not writing tickets. In order for it to be a regulatory sign, it has to be a white R2-1 speed sign.

We did formally establish a temporary speed limit or we at least need to, which is the motion that I brought before the council, would like to have brought before the council this roadway. Um, I mean, they can't even enforce those orange temporary signs because this roadway is not actually an active work zone. It's a detour.

The challenge I have with this is that okay, we we have a construction project. It started out not having all the safeguards for the community residents. No doubt. We had a meeting. We instructed the staff to handle it and they've handled it. Many of the things in your in your resolution are already done by staff.

So speed bumps, I don't have the data in front of me, but when we talked about this a couple years ago, a lot of what we find is that they'll slow down, they'll go over it, and then they basically, as you're saying, they they speed up to go to the next until they hit the next thing that will slow them down. And so, you're going to get more revving and more noise like that.
