Council member John initiated the motion to approve the consent agenda with the Gambling Funds Update excluded, a motion that subsequently passed with unanimous support from the present council members.
The meeting, presided over by Mayor Pro tem Khamis due to Mayor Deshler's absence, continued with other significant city business. While the Gambling Funds Update was set aside, the remainder of the consent agenda, which included items such as the approval of previous meeting minutes and disbursements exceeding $25,000, received unanimous approval.
