Yes. uh the the $35,000 well spent on the EDA dispersements on the resolution authorizing application for the Metropolitan Council Livable Communities Act grant on behalf of the Creek Line Flats Development Project in W three seems entirely appropriate. I'm supportive of both.
I think it kind of shows maybe we're we're seeing a little uh little bit different view of what uh what we like in the city.
you know, you can have uh native plants that maybe look a little more wild, but you can have clean edges that, you know, maybe make it a little more attractive, uh, a little more tolerable for those neighbors who maybe aren't into that type of landscaping.
We should note, you know, that stuff doesn't look that good on its own. There's tremendous uh tremendous labor labor of love to uh make that all look uh perfect uh ready for the picture. So, uh certainly uh hats off to your uh hard work to uh beautify your property and uh in general beautify the city.
this is someone who has just quietly been serving our community for decades. Um and on top of that, he's a great broadcaster and a great servant and an even better person.
I am truly humbled and honored to receive this proclamation. Growing up in St. Louis Park, I never imagined that one day I would have the opportunity to spend 50 years serving a community that has given so much to me and my family.
This one is always very important to me. Um just for whatever reason, when I was younger, the plight of indigenous peoples became very important to me and studied it a little in college. And I'm just very proud to be part of a city that's willing to take the time to make such a proclamation to recognize indigenous peoples
just always want to name that out loud. So thank you for all that put this together.
This council is not taking action on the item tonight. We the only action that the council will be taking upon exit from the closed uh executive session is to adjourn uh the city council meeting.
