[0:08] >> Transition Plus is a unique program in [0:11] that we're really working on real life [0:13] skills that our students with [0:16] disabilities need in the future. [0:19] >> Can I tell you something, Selena? This [0:20] one. So, I got this one. It is there's a [0:24] story. [0:24] >> T+ is a very inclusive environment. We [0:28] want students to feel like when they [0:29] come to us that we're tailoring this [0:32] program to what they need. [0:36] Something I love about T+ is that [0:42] people here are really inclusive [0:47] and kind and [0:51] the the staff are treating everybody the [0:56] same like there's no different. [1:00] >> You read number two. [1:04] It gives this group of students an [1:06] opportunity to go from a really big, [1:08] busy high school setting to a smaller, [1:12] more intimate setting here where I see [1:15] them grow a lot. I think they miss what [1:18] they did in high school, but I think [1:19] here it's just a very refreshing place. [1:23] There's a lot of opportunities, a lot of [1:25] community- based instruction. [1:28] We have more students in general in our [1:30] program which allows us to have more [1:33] staff so that we can do more things. [1:38] >> They're also kind of like my family [1:43] outside of [1:46] my home. [1:48] So every day I come to school, I just [1:52] feel really good about seeing everybody. [1:58] We're able to really like custom their [2:01] classes to fit their needs, their IEP [2:03] goals. We're able to do more job sites [2:05] because we'll have more staff that are [2:07] able to bring students to different [2:09] places. Um, I think the job sites are [2:11] super important part of our program. And [2:13] so, um, I don't think that we'd be able [2:15] to do all the job sites that we have [2:18] without combining both districts [2:20] together. [2:22] >> The white one. [2:23] >> The teachers gives me good tips [2:28] on life and I also like the Paras. uh [2:34] they help me solve my problems and yeah [2:38] that's how I learn to do things in a [2:41] real world in Safe.
