Thank you. I'll call the meeting to order. Welcome to the September 23 uh 2005 city council meeting. I hereby call the meeting to order. Members of the public uh may attend the city council meeting in person or may watch or listen remotely by viewing the meeting on channel 8 WCTV. Uh YouTube and the city's website at www. uh.orgetta.orgwv. orwv public comment during the public forum and or public hearing portions of the meeting may be provided in person or at the meeting in advance or by logging on to the team's call and raising your hand during the public hearing. When your name is called in the meeting, you will be seen and heard in our council chambers and on the cable channel and online. You will be asked to unmute and you may begin your comments. Uh you must have your camera on. All public comments must include your full name and address. Uh the next item uh on our agenda is the pledge of allegiance. Please stand if you are able. >> I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Thank you. >> Next uh is our roll call. Um the uh let the record reflect that all council members are present. Earlier this evening uh the council participated in a workshop and an open house and discussed the following uh discussion of of uh sale of city land on Lake Street. Uh we conducted candidate interviews to fill the uh council member Parkill's open seat which will be uh open as of the close of business tonight. And we also had a very nice uh farewell open house to Mr. Parkhill. Um uh and he will get a chance to say a few things uh here on camera too. Um the next item is uh I need uh to approve the agenda. Uh I need a motion to approve the agenda as is or any changes. >> Move to approve the agenda as outlined, Mr. Mayor. >> Okay. Do I have a second? >> Second. >> Further discussion? All in favor say I. I that passes. >> Next on our agenda is the public forum. I'm just checking to see what came in here. Is there anyone on teams, Mr. City Manager? So, I do have one um item here which I'm going to defer for one second because it's STR. So, it's it's not it's in the consent agenda, but I'm going to actually go to the next thing and see if if the consent agenda gets approved as as as as uh presented before I take this or do you advise that I take it now? >> Mr. Mayor, it's up to you. >> Okay. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to move on to um uh where is it? Um is our consent agenda. Um well actually we do new agenda and then consent agenda. So the next item is um new agenda items. Uh does anyone have any new agenda items to discuss or bring out this evening? Okay. So we don't have to do anything on that. The next item is the consent agenda. And there is going to be a couple items pulled here. Um and so we'll see how this goes. Um we need to approve the consent agenda. And I'm going to read everything on the consent agenda.
