[0:44] uh welcome to the April 1st 2025 Minnesota Supreme Court meeting Oh just kidding April Fools The April 1st [0:52] 2025 city council meeting for Weisetta I hereby call the meeting to order Uh [0:57] members of the public may attend the city council meeting in person or may watch or listen remotely by the meeting [1:02] view the meeting on channel 8 WCTV and the city's website at [1:09] weisetta.orgwv Public comment during the public forum andor public hearing portions of the meeting may be provided [1:14] in person at the meeting in advance or logging into the team's call and raising [1:19] your hand during the public hearing When your name is called in the meeting you will be seen and heard in our council [1:25] chambers and the cable channel You will be asked to unmute and then you may begin your comment All public comments [1:30] must include your full name and address Uh next is the pledge of allegiance Uh if we could all stand if you're able and [1:37] follow along I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the [1:44] republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and [1:50] justice for all Thank you The next item on the agenda is [1:56] roll call Uh let the record reflect that all are present with no absences Earlier [2:02] uh today the council participated in a workshop and discussed the following the review of the Weisetta bar and grill [2:08] remodel plan uh where we provided input to staff on design direction both look and feel and function Uh this item will [2:15] be prov back back uh with specifics on budget and timing at a future meeting with a goal of the remodel happening [2:20] next year Mr Mayor I just want to point out that council member Sorenson is absent Oh you're right Thank you I go [2:28] back and restate that council member Sorenson is absent So we'll go back to that roll call and and let the record [2:34] reflect that we are not all present but council member Sorenson has an excused absence Thank you for catching that Uh [2:40] the next item on the agenda is to approve the agenda I would accept a motion to approve the agenda as is or [2:46] does anyone would like to make any changes [2:52] I'll move to approve the agenda as outlined Second Uh moved and seconded Do we have [2:59] any further discussion All in favor say I I I That passes Uh [3:05] the next item on the agenda is our public forum Um just making sure that [3:11] there isn't anything on here Um so for members of the public in attendance tonight you're interested in speaking [3:16] please come to the DAS and state your name address and indicate you're representing a group and limit your comments to three minutes If your item [3:23] is something you wish to speak about on the agenda for those that are in person fill out the form at the table in the back and hand it to staff And for those [3:30] who are watching on teams you can send a note via chat to staff and let them know which agenda item you wish…
