[0:28] e [0:58] e [1:28] e [1:58] e [2:28] e [2:58] e [3:28] e [3:58] e [4:28] e [4:58] e [5:28] e [5:58] e [6:28] e [6:58] e [7:28] e [7:58] e [8:28] e [8:58] e [9:28] e [9:58] e [10:28] e e [11:27] good evening welcome to the November 12 2024 city council meeting the meeting is hereby called to order members of the [11:34] public May attend the city council meeting in P person or may watch and listen remotely by viewing the meeting [11:40] on Channel 8 WCTV and at the city's website at www.ed.org [11:47] WCTV public comment during the public forum Andor public hearing portions of the meeting may be provided in person in [11:55] advance or by logging into the zoom call and raising your hand during the public public hearing when your name is heard [12:02] or pardon me when your name is called in the meeting you will be seen and heard in our council chambers and the cable [12:07] channel you will be asked to unmute and then you may begin your comment all public comments must include your full [12:14] name and address second item on the agenda this evening is the Pledge of Allegiance I would ask everyone who is [12:19] able to please stand and follow along I pledge allegiance to the flag of [12:27] the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation [12:33] under God indivisible with liberty and justice for [12:41] all thank you third item on the agenda this evening is the roll call uh let the [12:47] record reflect that all members of the council with the exception of council member pish are in attendance this [12:54] evening I'd also like to note um that the council held a closed meeting of the [13:00] wetta city council at 5:30 p.m. to evaluate the annual performance of the wetta city manager Jeffrey dll this [13:07] meeting was closed pursuant to Minnesota statute section 13d .05 subdivision 3A [13:13] which provides an exception to the open meeting law when the council evaluates the performance of an individual who is [13:19] subject to its Authority as is required by the open meeting law at this our next [13:25] meeting the city council will now summarize its conclusions from that performance [13:31] valuation those conclusions are as follows the council remains um very [13:38] positive on uh Jeff's performance uh his um ability to interact with Council the [13:45] community and with staff um has been exemplary uh you continue to show your [13:51] dedication to this community to your job your profession and for that we are incredibly thankful um there are many um [13:59] positive attributes um that uh the council has noted uh not just today but [14:05] throughout the year um so we thank you for your service um to all of us and to [14:11] the city of wetta and we look forward to the year ahead thank [14:17] you all right uh moving on in the agenda our next agenda item is to approve the [14:23] agenda may I have a motion to approve the agenda as presented or would anyone care to recommend any [14:31] changes I'll mak…

These are all items that have already been done so why do you need our approval now shouldn't you have gotten shouldn't we have provided our approval before the work was done?

the step Downs especially the lower platform and the bridge aspect of them have to be removed and reinstalled every year... modifications that are being made are to make it more efficient and uh ultimately save pretty pretty substantially on costs on an annual basis.

here in wetta you are treated like you're the person that matters and our staff led by city clerk leig really has a great team they treat people very kindly and I just want to give them a lot of acknowledgement and recognition because it's one thing to to work your tail off and you know be exhausted after a long season it's another thing to do it with such Grace and kindness and really customer service driven.
