## MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING
## MARCH 23, 2026
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saint
Peter was conducted in the Governors’ Room of the Community Center.
A quorum present, Mayor Nowell called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The following
Councilmembers were present: Keri Johnson, Darrell Pettis, Ben Ranft, and Josh Weisenfeld.
Councilmembers Dustin Sharstrom and Brad DeVos were absent. The following officials w ere
also present: City Administrator Todd Prafke, Assistant City Attorney Steven Winkler, Community
Development Director Ben Baker, Finance Director Perry Solheim, Recreation and Leisure
Services Director John Stutzman, Water Resources Superintendent Curtis Thompson, and City
Engineer Jeffrey Domras.
Approval of Agenda – City Administrator Prafke requested that two agenda items be added: An
Executive Session as item IX and New Licenses as Item K in New Business.
A motion was made by Weisenfeld, seconded by Ranft, to approve the amended agenda. With
all in favor, the amended agenda was approved.
Approval of Minutes – A motion was made by Ranft, seconded by Pettis, to approve the minutes
of the March 9, 2026 regular City Council meeting. With all in favor, the minutes were approved.
A complete copy of the minutes of the March 9, 2026 regular City Council meeting is contained in
the City Administrator’s book entitled Council Proceedings 20.
